The house is a convenient base, with regular buses and trains nearby that made it easy for us to get around. The hostess was very nice, gave us hiking tips, and served a good breakfast. Our room had a charming rustic style.

We had a room overlooking Lake Titisee, and the morning view was spectacular. You really have to see it yourself. Haus Faller also has a ski and snowboard storage room and parking, while the bus runs every half hour for anyone who'd rather not drive. After the warm welcome, I felt at home quickly. The rooms and lounge have lots of thoughtful details, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It's a good choice if you're looking for accommodation. Towels and a hairdryer are provided, along with a flat-screen TV in the room, not the bathroom. The bathroom doesn't have soap or shampoo.

The apartment is functionally furnished, though a few areas could have been cleaner. It's a great base for outings and hikes, and the landlady is very friendly.
