The room was lovely, cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. I really enjoyed staying there and would go back. It was my first time at the Gasthof this year. The setting is peaceful and close to nature, with plenty of chances to hike and explore the Black Forest.

The restaurant's food and beer were delicious, and the service was wonderful. It's a fantastic place if you're after a relaxing, enjoyable holiday. I'd absolutely recommend the hotel.

2/10
The food was good and the place had plenty of charm, which made the poor welcome a real shame. They waited until the end to tell us they only accept cash, not credit cards. That felt very impolite.

We had a great stay. The staff were really friendly, and the view from our room, the one called schluchsee, was great. Breakfast was excellent too.
