Hotel-Pension Windgfäll

The Forsters team was friendly and relaxed, and they seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Dogs are warmly welcomed, and there’s a big playroom for children with books, toys, board games, art supplies, a play kitchen, and more. We had a short break at Forsters Pension and absolutely loved it. The hotel was fully booked, so we were moved to the pension’s largest room. It was spotless, lovingly furnished, and even had a fully automatic coffee machine. Breakfast was generous, fresh, and carefully prepared, and dinner was just as lovely. Huge praise for Mr. Lindemann, who went to a lot of effort to cook an outstanding dinner for the two of us. Ms. Wehrle’s massage was world-class and thoroughly professional. She’s clearly a trained therapist, and my shoulder pain felt much better afterward. The hotel wellness area was very clean and pleasantly quiet. We’ll definitely return.

The hosts deserve special mention: warm and attentive, but never intrusive. It was exactly the kind of hospitality that lets you properly unwind. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for switching off. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. Schluchsee is very close by, as shown in the photo.

We spent a wonderful week at Forsters Schwarzwald Resort. The young team puts a lot of care into meeting guests’ wishes, from the comfortable rooms and spa area to the cozy coffee and pastries in the afternoon. The breakfast buffet was thoughtfully prepared, and the dinner menu changed daily. We wish the team all the best and many lovely guests! 😉

We only stayed for one night, but the room had everything we needed, including a refrigerator, coffee maker, and kettle. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared. The chef served us himself, and all the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.
