Holiday Inn Express München-Messe by IHG

The free breakfast was a nice touch, and the location suited travelers with a car. The staff were welcoming and check-in was pleasant and smooth. But the rooms are tiny, with hardly any space to unpack or move around, and there isn't a gym, which was disappointing for this category. They also held the security deposit longer than expected, causing hassle after checkout. Decent for a short stay, but the lack of amenities, small rooms, and delayed deposit return made it an average experience.

I'd choose this hotel again. The breakfast was okay, though there wasn't much hot food on the buffet. The place was a little small, but clean, with a very comfortable bed and friendly staff. I also loved the free underground parking.

Mustfa at reception deserves a mention. He was polite, professional, and extremely helpful, from check-in through answering questions about the area, and made the stay smoother and more enjoyable. The hotel was clean, modern, and well organized, with a welcoming feel. My tidy, quiet room had everything I needed for a short stay, and breakfast was well arranged with good variety. I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Munich and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

My son was ill, so we had to leave one day early. We told the staff at 9am and canceled through trip.com. The hotel told trip.com it wouldn't refund the payment and claimed we'd broken something. That's a complete lie. It's pitiful and shameful that they'd make that up just to keep a few euros.
