TRAUBE Hotel Öffingen

I'd give this hotel 2.5 stars if half stars were an option. The rooms were clean, the beds were okay, and Wi-Fi worked on and off. The person organizing our conference arranged our stay and collected the group's keys in the afternoon, since most of us weren't due to arrive until just before the conference began. But the room assigned to me and another attendee was already occupied. We woke a couple who were asleep in bed. Two other attendees found that their room had bedding for only one bed, even though it had been booked for two people. We called management and were told they'd arrive in 10 minutes, but it took nearly 30. Once they got there, new rooms were arranged fairly quickly, and I was able to get a room to myself at a discounted rate. My bathroom sink had a fairly large crack in the basin. The bedroom window had only a sheer curtain, and I was glad to have brought a sleep mask because the room was so bright. On our last morning, the coffee machine "broke" at breakfast. The employee in charge tried hard to fix it, but she said she'd only started working there two days earlier and didn't know much about how it worked.

Our rooms had no hot water.

The staff were kind and capable, and the rooms were clean. The location was good too.

Really top hotel 👍🏼👍🏼
