The sauna, hot tub, and varied breakfast made it easy to unwind here, and the rooms were comfortable. Apart Hotel Haveltreff am Schwielowsee sits right by the lake, with lovely views and a calm atmosphere near Berlin. The staff were warm and welcoming. It can feel a little pricey, but we came away very positive about the stay.

The lakefront setting is lovely, but the heat made the lack of air-conditioning a major problem. It was 37°C locally, and after room service shut the windows while cleaning, we only realized later that the room had climbed past 40°C. There’s no AC in the bedrooms or shared areas.

We were told to use a free external parking lot, but the owner still tried, rather cheaply, to get everyone to pay for it. Worse, when someone in our group had car trouble, the owner was unfriendly and offered no help to anyone. If you might need support from the hotel, I’d stay somewhere else.

The terrace was a lovely, relaxing place for lunch, and both the „Blutwurst“ and crème brûlée were delicious. Even with the restaurant so busy, the service stayed friendly. We’ll definitely come back!

Breakfast had a nice range of good food, and the room was clean, comfortable, and charming, with a lovely view. The staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Great atmosphere and value.
