The complimentary breakfast and coffee were delicious. I had such a lovely stay, with very friendly staff and adorable, quiet rooms. I'd come back if I'm in Feuchtwangen again.

Such a cozy, nice place to stay. I booked at the very last minute, but they got the room ready quickly. The food was authentic and tasted great!!!! Everyone was kind, the staff and even the other customers, and they made my solo trip so enjoyable ;)

I was there for one business night and arrived at 2200 on Sunday. The old and new touches suit a quaint village guesthouse. Finding the building was tricky, especially at night without GPS. There was only a small A4 sheet on the entrance door to confirm I was in the right place. There are two parking spots in front, right by the street corner, and after 1930 you have to ring. The lobby smelled of boiled mutton from the nearby kitchen. The door separating it from the upper floors helped, but didn't keep the smell out completely. Room nr 2 had been remodeled and was clean, with a great firm mattress, two twin beds pushed together, and good quality duvet and linen. There were some drawbacks: the carpeted wooden floor sloped, and one end of the bed was lower, so I moved my pillow to the higher side. The bathroom shower door was very narrow, with a high step in and out. The tiles were cracked, apparently from the old wooden floor beneath. The laminate at the bottom of the bathroom door was visibly swollen, the shower door seals were worn, and the heat register and bathroom fans were dusty. One fan above the shower didn't work. Most annoying was having no Wi-Fi username or password at check-in or posted anywhere. The phone number listed on booking went straight to fax, so I couldn't reach the staff. I got the details at breakfast the next morning, which was worth every penny, and only then could write this before checking out. I'd return for the good sleep, quality linen, and excellent breakfast on the covered back terrace, provided I got a level room with a perfectly horizontal bed :) Good travels!

The staff were extremely friendly, and breakfast was decent. The room was bare, WiFi didn't work in it, and the bathroom fan made a horrible noise.
