We couldn’t stay on our planned dates, December 13th-14th, 2025, because nobody was there when we arrived and we couldn’t get into the accommodation. Check-in was listed as only available from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. At around 6:40 PM, I tried several times to reach the landlord by phone or Booking.com to let them know traffic would delay us slightly due to roadworks and Christmas market road closures. The listed number couldn’t be reached, and my message got a reply only about an hour later. When we arrived at 7:02 PM, there was nobody there, and no keys or other way to enter had been left for us. The landlord remained unreachable for quite some time despite our repeated attempts. I was travelling with my wife and two small children, and we waited outside the apartment for over an hour without help or information. Since we couldn’t stay, we had to find another hotel at short notice. Whatever the check-in rules are, I believe guests should have working contact details or a reliable way to get access, especially when they’ve warned about a delay. This left me with the impression that the place was poorly organized and unreliable. I can’t recommend it.

We rented a five-person apartment from Peter Hart for the night of October 23rd. We knew traffic would make us about half an hour late, but we couldn’t reach him by phone or email. He then told us we’d have to pay an extra fee to guarantee access. When we got there, nobody was waiting for us. We’d tried calling throughout the trip and again on arrival, but still couldn’t reach him. My partner, our children, and I were frightened we’d be stranded the night before our vacation. After more than half an hour, Peter Hart finally called back and explained how to get into the apartment. It looked like the photos, but he hadn’t mentioned that the dishwasher didn’t work at all. Avoid this place and the owner.

Public transport connections are excellent, so it’s quick to get around, and there’s a great sushi delivery service nearby for an easy evening in. I felt very comfortable at "Wohnen auf Zeit – Peter Hart" (Temporary Living – Peter Hart). The apartment was very clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed, plus a great balcony view. Mr. Hart was extremely friendly and helpful, and always available.
