Allgäuer Ferienhof

From Fischen, there are lots of activities to choose from, and the two free rolls per person each morning let you skip the bakery and get straight into the day. We spent a week in Apartment 3, and collecting the key at the Gaisbock went smoothly. The place just outside Fischen was lovely, with cows and goats making sounds all around. Inside, it's a fully equipped home, modernly furnished with Allgäu charm. The busy road is right next to the accommodation, but we hardly heard it indoors. I wouldn't want to sleep with the windows open, though. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the holiday farm.

Apartment 1 had everything we could want, including TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area, two bathrooms, and parking right outside. It's in Fischen towards Obermaiselstein, and the holiday apartment is beautiful and spacious. Cows and goats graze in the barn behind the building. Best of all, free bread is delivered right to the door.

The apartment itself is very spacious and has everything you need, and the bread roll service is a really nice touch. We stayed in holiday apartment no. 5 for a week from October 6, 2025. I was told by phone that storing our bicycles wouldn't be a problem, but once there, the space was full of bikes, a dog trailer, and a bike rack. For five apartments, more storage space is needed, since the room is much too small for several bicycles. The bikes could have been left at the Gaisbock restaurant, but we wanted to ride from where we were staying, not walk to the restaurant first. The shower drains very poorly, so the floor outside gets wet and needs drying. The towel rack is loose too.

The fresh rolls each morning were delicious, and you almost never get that kind of service. We spent our summer holiday in Fischen and felt very comfortable. The key handover was pleasant, and Apartments No. 7 and No. 6 were clean and well equipped. A few teaspoons and a baking tray would have been useful, but that didn't spoil our holiday. We tried asking the landlords for fresh towels but got no reply. The towels smelled slightly of spices when we arrived, and the smell got stronger during our stay, so we washed them ourselves in the washing machine provided. Dogs are welcome, and we had a really relaxing time. We can wholeheartedly recommend this vacation rental.
