The garden was a lovely place to unwind after hiking, with chairs and a big swing, and the views across the mountains and valley were beautiful. The hillside setting felt peaceful, while downtown Oberstdorf was only a few minutes away. Three of us shared the clean, three-bedroom apartment, which came with thoughtful comforts like wine and sugar. The beds were comfortable, and we could barely hear between the rooms. The owner was so friendly and brought fresh bakery goods each day. A great choice for couples or families wanting a quiet country stay near the attractions.

We had a great New Year here, watching fireworks over the snowy mountains in Oberstdorf from the balcony. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, with a lovely mountain view. Oberstdorf, Breitachklammand and several other popular spots were about 5-10 minutes away by car. Mr. Mehlan's suggestions for parking, places to see and restaurants were really useful. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Mr. Mehlan.

The owner was very friendly, and the room had a phenomenal view of the mountains. We loved how the decor mixed modern and traditional touches, and everything was exceptionally clean. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

I came across this review and can absolutely agree with it. Mr. Mehlan was incredibly nice and kept checking that we were happy, and his tips for things to do nearby were great. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. The location and panoramic view were top-notch, the rooms were very well kept, and everything we needed was there. Shops were 300m away. We both highly recommend it. Thanks so much for everything 🙂

The quiet, lovely natural surroundings and warm welcome made for a really relaxing weekend in the Allgäu. Berghof Mehlan was a perfect place to stay, with well-kept rooms and apartments, new bathrooms and very comfortable beds. From the balconies, we could enjoy a stunning panorama of the mountains. Thanks so much, we'll be back!
