In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Lech Fall, State Gallery in the High Castle and St. Mang's Abbey.

Both apartments are beautifully decorated in an Alpine style that feels just right for the Allgäu, and the mattresses are very comfortable. There is plenty of storage in each one. The kitchens are fully equipped for cooking or making breakfast, and both bathrooms have attractive, modern fixtures. The newly renovated bathroom in the Weitblick apartment has a walk-in shower. We are staying in both apartments at the moment. Weitblick is on the top floor, yet it stays pleasantly cool even when it's over 30 degrees outside, thanks to the owners' insulation work during construction. The solar roof provides extra protection as well. Waldbeere has two balconies. The smaller one has a drying rack as well as high-quality balcony furniture. Both apartments have spectacular, unobstructed views of the Grünten, Fischen, Sonnenköpfe, Rubihorn, Nebelhorn, the ski jumps and Oberstdorf. Guest parking is behind the house and reserved for residents. The owners live in the building, are very friendly and are always ready to help with questions. A farm shop two houses away sells fresh milk, butter, cheese and more. These holiday apartments leave nothing to be desired!

I've stayed here twice now, and I'm already planning to come back. It's peaceful but close to the main town, with lovely views and plenty to do nearby without long drives. The house is very clean, the owners are extremely pleasant, and the place feels cozy and welcoming. Just please leave my planned spot for next year! ;-)

We loved having breakfast on the sunny balcony, looking out at the Alps. Our May 2025 stay at Haus Bergland was in a fantastic, spotless apartment with everything we needed. The landlords were incredibly kind. We'll be back, promise! Best wishes, the Rettinger family

We spent a lovely week here, from January 29th to February 5th, 2022, and found the apartment a great base for outings around the area. It was tastefully furnished and had everything we needed. The mountain and valley views were beautiful, and the mattresses were very comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful, with plenty of tips and suggestions for things to do.

The owners live in the building and are very pleasant. We booked at short notice and always felt welcome. The Waldbeere holiday apartment in the Bergland building is modern, spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. The view is wonderful, and the second balcony on the west side is ideal for catching the late afternoon sun. Fischen is lovely for a stroll and has delicious ice cream. The cheese shop is worth a visit too, and even when it's closed you can buy cheese from the vending machine outside. I'd definitely recommend this place to couples.
