Hotel Verweiler

The furniture and appliances were in good shape, and the hotel seemed new. That was the one bright spot in a disappointing stay for our group of four friends. We arrived to find that the unit we’d booked wasn’t available. Without any advance notice, we were given two separate units instead. Getting between them meant putting on shoes and crossing a cold hallway, even for small things, and neither unit had the mountain view we expected. The apartments also felt unfinished: there was no bathroom exhaust fan, and a space clearly intended for a dishwasher had no dishwasher. We weren’t told about that beforehand either. The check-in QR codes arrived very late, only on our arrival day. The poor communication and lack of preparation left us dissatisfied.

Check-in was simple, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great. The rooms were super clean, with a beautiful view :)

We really enjoyed our stay, and the owner was very friendly. Our newly renovated Souterrain apartment was beautiful, as was the hotel. Its modern design worked nicely alongside the region’s traditions, and we could still enjoy a lovely mountain view despite being in the Souterrain. I’ll certainly return.

Everything went perfectly!
