Hotel am Fjord

The location is nice if some road noise doesn't bother you, though it wasn't anything serious, and most of the staff were friendly. Breakfast was well prepared, but could have included something more filling. The standard rooms are small, clean, and nice, but there's no wardrobe, the washbasin is small, and there are some scratches on the wall. You can hear noise through the plasterboard walls.

Being right in the city center makes it easy to explore on foot, and the guest rooms are spacious in a typical business-hotel way. The shower had low water pressure, and controlling the temperature was a challenge. Parking costs an additional 12 euros per day.

For one night, this was a really nice hotel. The room was large and lovely, and the bed was very comfortable, even if the room wasn't perfect. They accept dogs, which is a nice bonus. There's a large parking area outside, paid through EasyPark, but you need to get a paper sheet for your car from reception. Sometimes I could hear people in the outside corridor, but my aviation earplugs made it no problem for me 😅 The bathroom was nice too 👌

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were very nice. The hotel is close to the city center. We stopped for one night on a long road trip after picking a city and hotel at random. There’s underground parking at a fair price, plus a public lot nearby. Great stay, and I’d book again if I pass through flensburg.
