Seemannsheim Hostel

The hostel was brand new, very clean, and decorated really nicely. Staff were lovely and helpful, and for the price and service it's hard to beat. The road outside is partly paved and very noisy, with lots of cars passing day and night. They provide free earplugs, though, and we still slept well with the window shut.

After 50 years, this was my first stay in a hostel. Sharing with six or seven others isn't really my thing, but it turned out to be a pleasant experience. Everything was clean, the toilets and showers were modern, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and efficient. The location was great too, and I can't think of anything to complain about. Thanks, I'd happily come back.

We had a great stay in this cozy, clean hostel with good facilities and a lovely view all around. The location is very nice, within walking distance of the pedestrian street, and there's an excellent restaurant in the hostel. Our room was close to the main road, so we could hear cars, but it wasn't too annoying. Highly recommended.

The kitchen is superbly equipped, and there's a big choice of teas if you feel like making one. The dorm faces the main street and looks out over the harbour, but the double windows kept the traffic noise out. Internet was fast and stable. Everything, including the appliances and facilities, felt brand new and pristinely clean. Easily the best hostel I've stayed in, and great value for the money.
