Hotel Flörsheimer Hof

The staff were genuinely friendly, checking in and asking what we needed, even though we arrived around midnight. Our room had decent space and was more or less clean, though the corners around the hotel could use more attention. Breakfast was simple, handy if you're on the go.

The room was quiet and fresh, and although it wasn't cleaned very well, the bed and duvet were clean enough for me to rest comfortably. I was surprised and happy to find the owner was Korean. The hotel could use some tidying, but the price was good for what you get, especially with breakfast and parking included. There's a spacious parking lot and the room size suited me. Downtown Frankfurt was about 20-30 minutes away, so I think it's a good option when prices there are high during a fair. If I get the chance to visit Frankfurt, I'd definitely stay here again.

The building's age is really starting to show. The staff were kind and hospitable, and breakfast was fair. It was an okay stay, though I'd only come back if I had to.

We slept okay on the mattress, though the night light was missing its bulb. The bathroom was in rough shape, dirty and needing repairs, but at least the shower had warm water. For around 60€ a night for a double room with breakfast, you get what you pay for, which isn't much. Breakfast was the best part: bread, cheese, salami, jam and some yoghurt. Simple, but fine, like picking up groceries for a cold breakfast. The owner should consider a thorough renovation. It felt like Fawlty Towers as a real hotel, or maybe Guesthouse Paradiso for people who know the show Bottom.
