Am Keschtewaeldele ****

The Black Forest view is wonderful, and the apartment is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, so traffic is minimal and it’s peaceful. Church bells nearby do ring fairly often, including early in the morning, though that’s outside the owners’ control. Inside, everything was as described: modern, spotless, and carefully looked after. The newer beds were especially comfortable, even better than they looked in the listing. The covered parking beside the house is handy, and although the access road is a little narrow, getting there was manageable. The owners were warm and attentive. They also sell drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and small snacks in the entrance area at fair prices, any time of day or night. We felt right at home at Am Keschtewaeldele and would happily return. A lovely choice if you’re after comfort, quiet, and a great view.

We had such a restful stay and would gladly return. The hosts have made the apartment feel welcoming, and it has all the comforts we needed for a vacation. We’d happily recommend this lovely place. Thank you! 😀

I’m writing this before we’ve even checked out. The view from the roomy living room is fantastic, and the kitchen is spacious and great for cooking. There are three bedrooms and a lovely bathroom with a really nice shower. The house is spotless, even under the bed, and the hostess has been very friendly. Everything we needed was here. It’s a beautiful setting, and while finding the place takes a little effort the first time, it’s easy once you know the way. If you’re looking for a holiday home nearby, this is the one. A full 10 from me, TOP LOCATION...

From the balconies you can see the town, and the apartment’s setting is lovely. We had a great stay, and it’s easy to head out hiking right from the apartment. The Glücksweg (Happiness Trail) starts very nearby, and I’d especially recommend it for families with young kids. The rooms are bright and welcoming, with everything we needed. A few beds do creak pretty loudly, though. The owners were polite and glad to suggest things to see in the area.
