The apartment made a lovely base for a quiet hiking break. My sister and I spent a few days in beautiful Rauenstein, and our hosts welcomed us so warmly. We were on the top floor, with a wonderful view, and the bedroom and living room with its integrated kitchen were charming and comfortably furnished. We slept really well. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for peace and hikes.

The hosts made our stay feel special, going out of their way to make us comfortable. They even sent us off with delicious homemade cake and a small gift. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, with room for four, and guests can make full use of the large garden. The view may be the best in the entire Thuringian Forest, and there’s plenty to see nearby. We had a wonderful time and wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you so much!

Shopping requires a drive, and the hilly surroundings mean you’ll need to be a good walker. Still, we felt very comfortable and came away well rested. The apartment is lovely and cozy, with a view of Rauenstein, and the hosts are caring and welcoming.
