Best Western Victor'S Residenz Hotel

The hotel is beautiful, and my stay here was memorable. I especially enjoyed seeing either Soraya or Monica at the panoramic breakfast bar each morning. It was lovely to be greeted by a familiar, friendly face. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Frankenthal.

The reception staff were polite and friendly, and the hotel itself is architecturally beautiful, but its location didn’t work well for us. The room was adequate, with an okay bed, a small washroom, and no AC. There was a fan, but no coffee maker or extra pillows, so we had to ask for pillows. Parking is available, but there are no in-and-out privileges, so you pay every time you leave. That was a big disappointment, especially since there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance. We paid almost $30 euros for under 24 hours. We won’t be returning.

The breakfast buffet on the top floor was better than at many hotels we’ve stayed at in Germany, and the spa is beautifully designed. Having a jacuzzi there was superb. The room was spacious, with a well-fitted bathroom and all the amenities you’d expect at a grand 5-star hotel. The hotel may have had its former glory and history, but the whole stay was excellent once we checked in. The front office staff were super friendly and professional. It was a great experience, and we came away with lots of memories of a grand hotel.

Breakfast was lovely, especially the pancakes, and the spa was clean and fun. The pizza at the bar was big and really tasty, and the Barkeeper was a really friendly, nice man. Everyone at reception, breakfast, and the bar was very nice. Fr. Kuscu at reception stood out. She helped us and explained everything with a smile. I’ll be coming back!
