My mother, the children, and I literally ran away because we didn't feel safe staying there. There were lots of suspicious, aggressive people around, and the rooms were smoky and dirty. Absolutely not a place for a family with kids. Don't risk your safety.

Reception were courteous, and having a lift was handy for taking bags up and down. We had a very soft double bed that rolled together, plus three single beds across two separate rooms. The rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The area felt dodgy, with people taking drugs nearby and urine smell on the walk to and from the hotel. I wouldn't advise a woman to walk around there, especially at night.

The room and bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, and there was a noticeable urine smell around the hotel. The location was disappointing.

Fine if you just need somewhere cheap to sleep, but it's very basic. I took off a star because the floor was dusty and hadn't been cleaned when I arrived.

10/10
We stayed three nights and had a really good time. It's convenient for travel because the hotel is close to the station. The price, facilities, and staff were all fine, so I don't understand why it has so many bad reviews. There are junkies and prostitutes in the neighborhood, but they aren't part of the hotel's service, and I still felt the area was very safe.
