The bar and lounge made lovely places to meet. In the evening it was easy to chat and relax there after the day. The dining room has a classic feel, the service was wonderful and friendly, and the meals offered lots of variety and interesting combinations. They may be a bit pricey. We didn’t try half-board. We had a wonderful stay at this spa hotel, and the spa services were very good. If our room is typical, they’re very large, with nicely updated bathrooms. We loved the huge windows.

A comfortable place in a nice building, with good rooms, a pool, and friendly staff. The gym could use more equipment, and the spa could stay open longer.

The only downside for me was the internet, which wasn’t great. That seems pretty common across Germany, though. For the price, this was a great place to spend a week at a quiet, decent hotel. The room was a little small, but fine, and the sauna was nice. The food was great. Everyone was awesome and super friendly, from the front desk and spa to the restaurant, bar, and cleaning staff. They were exceptionally helpful, and they all spoke English, which was helpful for someone like me who doesn’t speak much German.

They made a mistake with our reservation, then told us two months after we booked and just one week before arrival. They cancelled our NY Gala, and when I asked for an explanation, they hung up on me. They blamed Booking.com for the error. Avoid this place.

We had one concern: the rooms don’t have air conditioning. Otherwise, the pool area was peaceful and relaxing, and breakfast was high quality and definitely worth recommending. The hotel’s location is ideal, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Housekeeping also promptly handled our requests for frequent room cleaning.
