Waldhotel Luise

We had a lovely weekend in a very nice hotel. Our suite was spacious, decorated with wood, and had a pleasant view over Freudenstadt. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served typical local food. Since it was my birthday, they gave us a nice table with candles and offered champagne from the house, taking extra care with our needs. Nearby options include mini golf, forest walks, biking, the spa and swimming, and a visit to Freudenstadt. The hotel is very nice, and its rooms are big and well decorated with wood.

I found the coffee bar a bit cramped, with seating for no more than 10 people. The pool and rooms were great, and it was a relaxing stay.

There’s a short walk from the hotel straight into the forest, and the recent refurbishment is tip top. We’ve stayed here five times now, which probably says it all. The dining area is very nice, breakfast hit the mark every morning, and the evening meals were lovely too. Staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The pool is great for children, while the spa was really relaxing. 9/10.

We had to wait quite a while for the restaurant food, which was fresh and tasty. Breakfast was very good too, with a wide choice of fruit, meats, and more. The location adds to the experience. Staff were helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I slept like a baby! Highly recommended.
