The extra electricity charge was the last straw: it wasn't included in the price, and we had to pay €2.35. I gave her €5. This was by far the worst holiday home we've ever rented, and I wouldn't recommend it at all. The place is so run-down and worn out that we were speechless when we walked in. The furniture is from the 70s, and the kitchen is fit for the dump. If you like the musty charm of the 70s, this may be the place for you. We should have turned around and rented somewhere else, but we stuck it out. I wouldn't give it any stars, but the system won't let me.

The home was well maintained and had everything needed for a holiday in the Bavarian Forest. The landlady was very friendly. We'd gladly stay again and highly recommend it.
