Ferienhaus Sternschnuppe

We've been taking an October 3rd long weekend with our hiking group for 20 years, and this is the most lovingly furnished, clean, well-equipped holiday home we've had. Even the dogs were looked after with several bowls and comfy beds. For us, everything had been thought through, from sauna bathrobes to beans for the fully automatic coffee machine. This house deserves 10 stars. We'll be back for sure. Thank you, the Wagner family.

The Wagner family were always available when we needed help, and we felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our welcome included three bottles of mulled wine, peanuts and oranges, plus a decorated Christmas tree ready for the presents we'd brought. We spent Christmas at Sternschnuppe in Ahornöd, seven adults and a dog, and the house was in excellent shape with everything we could need. For relaxing, there’s an infrared sauna and whirlpool, with bathrobes and cozy blankets in the closets. Our dog had a large bowl and a bed too. The pellet stove added a lovely bit of warmth, and the instructions for the appliances were easy to consult. There was also a well-made A-Z information folder, plus excursion ideas, current hiking and cycling maps, and useful addresses. The kitchen was especially well stocked, including an oven, microwave, and air fryer. There was coffee in the machine, a spare soda maker bottle in a drawer, and plenty of matching crockery and cutlery, which has not always been our experience elsewhere. The house more than deserves its five stars. Thanks for such a warm welcome!

We made good use of the barbecue for dinner, and with the warm weather, the pool and hot tub were fantastic. The holiday home is a dream, with everything needed for a relaxing break. Thank you to the owners, we had a wonderful time.

The Wagner family were kind, helpful hosts, and communication before the trip was excellent. They replied quickly to every question. We spent a week at the start of the month in Sternschnuppe with four adults and our two Bernese Mountain Dogs. The house was beautiful and furnished so well that we wanted for nothing. The dogs could roam freely and caused no problems. It lived up to what it promised, and we had a lovely holiday. We'd be very happy to return, and recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you!
