The location worked really well for visiting the national park and Passau, and there was parking included. The apartment had top-notch amenities and excellent Wi-Fi. I’ve rarely had such a lovely host. Thank you.

The internet has improved a lot since my original stay, and now there’s full Wi-Fi reception in every room. Before that, it was extremely slow, whatever the signal strength, and I took off one star for it. The apartment itself was very clean and tidy, with plenty of space and good parking.

The apartment is very large for the price, clean and tidy, relatively quiet, and has its own parking space and conservatory. The main drawback for us was the Wi-Fi, which only gets 1-2 Mbps. Streaming and similar things just aren’t possible. This doesn’t seem to be a temporary issue. The landlord says technical problems with the provider prevent a change, although an online check says 250 Mbps should be available at this address. The kitchen could use more utensils, such as a mixer, mixing bowl, and baking pans. The few frying pans and saucepans are old, with no non-stick coating and some loose handles. If six people were staying, plates and cutlery would probably run short, and even with a dishwasher you’d often have to wash things by hand. For the two of us, though, it was perfectly adequate. One layout issue isn’t apparent in the photos: the master bedroom, with the blue fabric ceiling, is a walk-through room. You have to pass through it to reach bedroom two or the conservatory. It seems to have been the former living room. The conservatory is now the only living room, and it may be too hot in summer and too cold in winter.

The hosts are warm and helpful, and the apartment is in a quiet but central spot. We highly recommend it.
