Right on the main square, the location is excellent, and the friendly receptionists were helpful. The hotel has an elevator, and its 18th-century staircase is part of its historic charm. My room was small and stuffy, though quiet because it faced a little side street. The Wi-Fi was okay, and the TV worked, but it was small. Breakfast was a modest buffet with no fresh fruit.

The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. They were happy to hold our bags early, and Nordbanhof is an easy walk or scooter ride away. The hotel sits right in the centre of charming Ingolstadt. It has a historic, classic feel without being run-down, and the breakfast buffet in the classic dining room was phenomenal. A perfect base for visiting the city.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is quaint and charming, and I enjoyed seeing its collection of medieval armoured statues. The rooms were very clean, though a bit small.

Shops and bars are just a few metres away, since the hotel is right in the heart of the city. It’s an old building that’s been renovated to look brand new, and both the rooms and toilets were very clean. I recommend it for a visit to ingolstadt.
