The hosts were friendly and patient with my very bad German. They also have a nice biergarten. Since it's a family run inn rather than a chain, it may not have the same amenities as other hotels at the same price, and the hosts don't speak much English. For me, that makes the place feel more authentic and adds to its charm.

The rooms are very basic, and although breakfast was OK, the eggs we ordered never arrived. The owners and staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. They cheat and overcharge for accommodation, food, and drinks, and there's no price list or menu even when you ask. They sell the most expensive beer in Bavaria. There are much better, cheaper options everywhere. Don't go.

Breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety, but the hotel people weren't very warm. Maybe they prefer Bavarians over other people. I can't bring myself to give this place a 4, though objectively it probably deserves one. The room is spacious, with new furniture, an excellent bed, and a quality shower room, but it feels empty. The WiFi is poor, and the complicated login has to be repeated over and over.

The food was filling, but it had no real seasoning. The mushroom cream sauce tasted like plain cream. After my stay, I can honestly say I've never been treated so rudely at a place, and I won't return. For a hotel that takes business travelers, they should accept debit card payments for food. They only take cash, so make up your own mind why they don't accept traceable electronic payments. The location right by Audi was a big plus for me, and the rooms were clean, if basic. The interior feels like the 80s, though the family run hotel seems to have a freshly renovated exterior. It's a functional place, but if you want a friendly reception or better value, go elsewhere. There are nearby four star hotels that cost less and offer much better service and accommodation. I got almost no information from the owner when I arrived, not even breakfast hours or how to get the WiFi password. At 8:30 pm I was told the kitchen had closed, but a flyer in my room said it should stay open until 9. There wasn't a pillow on my bed, and when I went to find a staff member, nobody was around. Those are two of the main reasons my rating isn't higher.
