Parking was small but easy to get into. We didn't eat at Ana's Bar Restaurant downstairs, though on arrival the place seemed more like a restaurant than a hotel. The Lake Constance area, including the towns and the Dornier and Zeppelin museums, is well worth visiting, and this stay didn't spoil our trip there. As for the hotel, the rooms seemed fine at first, but the paper King and Queen crowns, casino-looking QR tags, and wet wipes on the beds made us wonder what kind of place it was. Our two neighboring rooms had stained carpets and sofas, one ensuite had a broken toilet seat, and there was a strong stale smell from the carpet and cleaning chemicals. One shower room regularly flooded, as if its drain hadn't been cleared in a while. On the second night, someone tried our door, then slammed doors and banged around in their room. For the prices, about £200 for two business nights or £160 privately, I can't recommend it beyond two stars. Even the cheapest UK Premier Inn is better at £39 a night. The standard needs a lot of work. Keep things simple and clean.

I had no reservation, but the young woman at the desk welcomed me warmly. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I liked the shower and sitting out on the balcony. The location is handy, and the price seemed fair compared with nearby choices. Breakfast isn't included, though coffee and croissants are available. I'd stay again.

The staff were friendly, and the price was fair for a short stay near the places I wanted to visit. Check-in really is available around the clock through a key box. The interior, including the carpets, could use improvement, but it was acceptable for the price. Parking on site costs an extra 5 EUR, and spaces elsewhere are hard to find. The location itself can be noisy.

The rooms each have their own style, which is a nice change from the usual bland look, and they were clean. Staff were very friendly, and the price was great. There's an American-style breakfast, vending machines, free WiFi, and a computer station. A supermarket is right across the street, and parking is free.

The room was large and clean, check-in was quick, and the price was low. But the whole hotel smelled of smoke, the walls are thin, and the man at the front desk was sarcastic and somewhat rude. Three stars from me.
