Great.

We had booked breakfast for our first morning at Hotel Krone, across the street, but nobody welcomed us or showed us where to go. We found the breakfast room ourselves. A woman was walking around and didn't even say good morning. When I asked whether she needed our room number, she looked at me in an unfriendly, questioning way. Unfortunately, she only spoke Russian. The room itself was really unpleasant: thick cobwebs, fingerprints everywhere, dirty walls and curtains, and no bedside tables like the ones in the photos. The toilet and bathroom were disgusting, so I disinfected the essentials. Photos are available.

The breakfast was fine for what it cost. I didn't find the room fresh, though: there was a musty smell, the rug looked old and dirty, and the bathroom felt dated. The shower seemed meant for children, since you had to hold it the whole time. Service wasn't especially welcoming either. The lady was polite, but I missed a warmer, more heartfelt welcome.

It was pleasantly warm and fairly quiet despite where the hotel is, but the room was catastrophic. The place was run-down and dirty, with a stained carpet, awful bedding and a filthy bathroom. The tub, shower head and hose were rotten, and we disinfected the toilet. There were holes in the broken walls, the bathroom lock had been ripped out, and I don't even want to think about the toilet brush. There was no coffee on-site as advertised, nobody at reception in the hotel across the street, and no restaurant. In the evening, drinks were available from an improvised bar in the parking lot across the street. At this price you don't expect five stars, but never again for us. Not recommended.
