Hotel Schloss Fuchsmühl

It was okay!

Really great.

Breakfast was included, and Wi-Fi was free. The place was spotless throughout, and the staff were friendly every time we saw them. I had a very nice stay, thanks. The castle has plenty of character, with its history and romantic feel carried through the well-kept interior. It’s been renovated while still reflecting its age. There’s more to explore there than I got around to seeing. The rooms are roomy, have what you need, and each belongs to a different section. The bed was comfortable, especially the pillow. The setting is quiet and pretty, on a little side street at the edge of Fuchsmühl, away from the main road. It’s a short walk into town, and parking in the hotel’s open, unpaved lot is free. Getting around is easiest by car or taxi. Local buses are what you’d expect in the countryside, and the nearest train station is several kilometers away in the next town. There are other attractions nearby too.

Dinner was tasty, and breakfast the next morning was just as good. The room was larger than average, with good beds and pleasantly firm mattresses. We were welcomed warmly, even though we hadn’t booked ahead. The price felt excellent for what we got. It’s a little gem for us, and we’ll definitely come back.
