Landhaus Kossel is just a couple of minutes on foot from the lake, nice walks and restaurants, and it’s easy to get to Neuschwanstein Castle too. We’d really recommend it for a trip like that. The lake is open for swimming in summer, and there’s a natural pool on site with sunbeds and decking, a fun place to spend a relaxed afternoon. We don’t have children, but noticed good play areas and plenty of safe room for them to roam. The stables and horses are a lovely extra. The rooms are luxurious and good quality, and the ones with a view are 10/10, they took our breath away. Breakfast had loads of choices and was all delicious. We loved the location, scenery and how authentic it felt to the area. We couldn’t recommend it more and will most certainly come back with family and friends in the next year or so. Don’t hesitate, BOOK!

We had room #8 for six nights and wished we could have stayed longer, there’s so much to see and discover in this part of Barvaria. The lake is only a one minute walk away, and Landhaus Kössel was an amazing place to stay. The bed was very comfortable, the room well equipped with a kitchen and utensils, and the living room was spacious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We didn’t try breakfast, though I’m sure it’s amazing. This is one of the most beautiful areas in Germany, and we’ll come back. :) Thanks Landhaus Kössel

The resident dog is my favourite part, so cute and cuddly and always looking for pets. The people running the place are friendly and sweet, and do everything they can to make your stay a happy one. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, with a little pond behind the property where you can swim. Hopfen lake is also just down the street for swimming or boating. Breakfasts are delicious with plenty of choices. The rooms are spacious and have balconies, the bathrooms are clean with hot water always available, and the beds are really comfortable, with warm comforters and soft pillows. Definitely recommend staying here!

The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and had all the appliances we needed. Check-in was easy with the lockbox. The location is beautiful, a short walk from a lovely lake, and just a short drive to supermarkets and Fussen.

We only got to stay one night, which was a shame. The room was huge, with a big corner balcony looking out over the mountains and scenery, plus a small kitchen, a nice bathroom, and comfy beds and sofa bed. Breakfast was great, and everyone working there was friendly. We arrived late, but they left the keys somewhere safe so we could get in. Füssen is a must, and this charming hotel is a lovely place to stay. I’d happily come back, and I’d stay longer next time.
