Motel Füssen im Allgäu

The price was below the area's average, and the motel is very close to the city center. Our family room was really spacious, though the rooms feel a bit old. The staff were very helpful.

You can reach the city center in under ten minutes on foot, and there's a restaurant downstairs in the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, with a small table and chairs, plus a teapot and tea to make in the room. The hotel feels modern and comfortable, and breakfast had lots of good choices.

It was easy to find food nearby and do some sightseeing, since the location was good. But I had to look around for an employee because the door and reception were closed. The reception stayed closed, and our room was cold when we got it because the windows had been left open. I think they were trying to air it out.

Breakfast didn't start until 8, much too late for an overnight stop while traveling. Our street-facing room got very warm, and opening the window meant lots of noise from the terrace, road, and people walking by drunk, shouting and singing until 4 in the morning. There were also many people smoking outside, and the smell came into our room noticeably. The room itself was clean and spacious. The small bathroom had only a shower, but it looked new and clean and came with soap and towels. The toilet was in there too. No air conditioning. All in all, a one-time stay.
