We spent less than ten minutes at the top, with tour coaches bringing one group after another up the hill. Back in the car park, the cars that had been directed into spaces while we were parking had already left. If you haven't booked online ahead of time, I wouldn't bother during busy periods. The trail and bridge closures, along with the scaffolding, mean you may only get to see one facade, and that view also has scaffolding in it. It's barely recognizable from the photos that draw visitors, which was a big disappointment. The interior may be amazing, but there are more impressive castles in France, for example.

The landlady was friendly and helpful from the booking right through to departure, which really stood out. The apartment has plenty of amenities and feels like home as soon as you arrive. It's a great base for trips around Füssen, and close enough to walk into the old town. We'd be happy to come back!

Seeing Neuschwanstein Castle from the balcony was a highlight, and the old town and shops are nearby. The included Füssen Card made getting around for our sightseeing easy, with free bus and train travel. Ana gave us helpful information before we arrived, and the apartment was beautifully furnished, spotless, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay in Füssen. Thanks so much, Ana!

We walked easily to the city center from this well-located apartment. The owner was very welcoming, and the underground garage provided parking. We stayed for a week and felt at home right away. The bedroom and bathroom look directly toward Neuschwanstein Castle, and the kitchen is superbly equipped. Everything was excellent!
