That lake view from the room was a real highlight, and there was a good range of breakfast options. We stayed three nights at Hartungs Hoteldorf, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with a kitchen and all the utensils we needed. The pool was a nice way to relax after skiing or walking. The location made it easy to get to the ski pistes, Austria, and Neuschwanstein Castle. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it.

There’s a lovely view, the service is friendly, and the rooms are large, though pretty simple. The main disappointment was dinner at the restaurant. The food was dry, tasteless, and didn’t seem freshly prepared, so we left without eating. There’s no bike rental, the hill up from the village is very steep, and the bar shuts on Sundays. The hotel has potential and was otherwise pleasant, but the restaurant and some services need work.

Breakfast was superb, with dairy from local farms and the option to make cold-pressed juice. Dinner was nice too. Our room was immaculately clean, and after walking in the cool mountain air it was lovely to settle by the bar with tea. The terrace was beautiful for watching the sunset, and the craft cocktails came with great attention to detail. Hope we can come back!

The breakfast was so good, and the hotel gave us a bus ticket that was completely free, so we could travel around the city all day. We stayed two nights, loved the beautiful location, and thought the service was great. We hope to visit again.
