The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. I was kind of surprised there were no facecloths or bathrobes. The gym is really only big enough for two guests at most. The sauna and spa area were lovely, and trying the herbal sauna was a new and wonderful experience.

We had a great stay as a family of four, with enough bed space for everyone. The room and bathroom both stayed warm at night, and after a full day of activities we enjoyed the bathtub. Parking at the hotel was convenient and relatively well priced. The tourist street in the old town is right outside.

The location was perfect, the staff were helpful and kind, and breakfast was amazing. But we stayed two nights in the second building, and the bathroom smelled bad. It was manageable the first night, though I hadn’t noticed it much. The second night, a terrible smell spread from the bathroom into the room and woke me in the middle of the night. I couldn’t get back to sleep. A shame for such a fancy place.

I liked the tasty breakfast, the variety of nearby restaurants and the lively town, but the room was small and incredibly noisy. I couldn’t sleep at all. There was drilling and repair work from the kitchen below, people hoovering practically at dawn, and the rubbish truck came at 5 am and stayed for 20 minutes, along with plenty of other noise. The windows and door were shut, and even with a pillow over my ears I couldn’t sleep. I told the staff about it the next morning, but they were rather rude and said, “I don’t understand why you are upset about this.” Since nobody had warned us or mentioned the noise caused by the hotel during the night, I think it’s understandable that I was upset.

The room view was absolutely stunning, just unbelievable. We had guests with us, and the service staff were really friendly and kind. Train and bus connections were excellent, as was access to the viewpoints in Füssen.
