Breakfast was great, but the receptionist barely spoke English. There's no spot to unload the car by the hotel entrance, although there's a large parking lot across the road. The room had no conditioner, and the toilet door was transparent. A weird place to stay, what can I say.

Being centrally located made it easy to explore the city on foot, which I loved. The room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming.

The breakfast buffet was great, and the rooms were good. I was only there one night during a road trip, and the large parking lot across the street was very convenient. The room service menu was tiny and didn't separate appetizers from main courses. There was only one main vegetarian dish.

The staff were kind, and the bathroom was lovely and seemed renovated. Our room was big, but a bit dated, with an old rug, old curtains, and an old bed and mattress. It's a nice hotel with a lovely mix of leisure and spa, and seems quite lovely for couples.

After driving in from the highway, I arrived carrying a suitcase and a laptop case with a tablet and camera equipment. I badly needed the restroom, and my room was already paid for, but reception wouldn't give me the key so I could use the bathroom and secure my belongings. They wanted to copy my ID after learning I don't live in Germany. The whole interaction made me feel like a criminal. The desk staff could learn about service from Marriott Frankfurt, Hamburger Allee, where I've had my best hotel experience so far. Better go somewhere else.
