The rooms were nice and the welcome service was good. The hotel also got coffee, sandwiches, and croissants out around 4:45, which we really appreciated. We’d been told breakfast would be available at 4:30, though, and there was no one at the desk or food ready then, despite breakfast being on our voucher and most of us having very early flights. We were here after our flight was canceled. We ended up paying for a cab because the hotel shuttle would have taken hours, and we desperately needed sleep. In the morning there was only one shuttle running, so we waited another 30 minutes in the lobby to get back to the airport. The ride to the airport was also unsettling. The driver was going about 140 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. When a passenger asked him to slow down, he refused and said to call the hotel about it, explaining he had to get people to the airport. The intense ride made me very car sick.

The staff were incredible, and everything was very clean, tidy, and well cared for. They paid attention to the details, too. My room was beautiful, and the meals were fantastic. I stayed here during a layover while traveling through Moon airport. The hotel is lovely and peaceful, set in a quiet, rural area near Munich airport. I’d highly recommend it.

Eriks Hotel was a welcome surprise after my flight was canceled. It’s a small family hotel in the countryside, with a cosy interior and lovely staff, rather than one of the impersonal large hotels people often get sent to in that situation. The shuttle, run by dad, was efficient. I didn’t have a meal, though the late night rolls looked tempting. Breakfast in the morning was great, and the coffee one of the sons made tasted just like it came from Italy. A lifesaver, thank you! Well done to Lufthansa for working with small businesses. Eriks Hotel absolutely deserves it.

I ended up here after missing my flight, so choosing the hotel wasn’t up to me. Still, I couldn’t have been happier with the stay. The food was delicious, and breakfast was the icing on the cake. The cuisine is stunning and there’s a great wine selection, though the choices for Lufthansa airline guests like me were limited. Eric's hotel is an excellent option if you need to stay in this area.

After my flight was disrupted late in the evening, Eriks hotel gave me a very warm welcome, a nice meal, and a comfortable room on a difficult night. The shuttle was quick, too. You made a big difference!
