Gutshof Fürstenberg

The Böddeker family’s warm hospitality and the care they’ve put into restoring the old houses really stayed with us. We felt at home in the coachman's room and had a wonderful time exploring the Weserbergland region. We’re leaving impressed and grateful for such a lovely stay. Antonia & Till

The heat outside was over 30 degrees, but inside the lovely half-timbered apartment it stayed around 17 to 19 degrees. There’s no air conditioning, but we found it very bearable. With our dog needing walks, we were glad to be close to the Weser River, several lakes, and a beautiful forest, where we could still enjoy being outside despite the weather. The landlords were very friendly and accommodating. Whenever we had a question, they made time to help, even while looking after their two lovely little children. We felt incredibly comfortable throughout our four-day stay. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll definitely come back. Best wishes to the landlords from the Althaus family and Bommel!

The estate is inviting and very well kept, and the owners are really friendly. The apartments are beautiful and furnished with care. They also have everything you need, so you don’t have to pack all the basics yourself like you often do for holiday rentals. We’d love to return!

There’s plenty of room in the new Kutscherstube holiday apartment, even with the extra bed for our daughter. Every piece of furniture seems to have its own story. We felt completely at ease again in this lovely place, and it was a great spot to recharge.
