The sauna and Katharina's Iyenga yoga classes were highlights, both excellent, and the classes felt unique, focused, and effective. The massages were superb too. It's a wonderfully secluded, peaceful place, with a well-kept farm and accommodation. Breakfast is served in a cozy room, and the staff are attentive and flexible about requests. We loved it and will definitely come back.

We loved being tucked away from everything, with plenty of field paths to wander and the freedom of space all around. It was still easy to get anywhere by car. In early January, outside the season, we enjoyed the quiet and such caring service from our cozy holiday apartment, looking out over the snow-covered pond and fields. The sunsets were beautiful. Katharina's Iyengar yoga sessions were thoughtful and intense, a really valuable experience. The carefully chosen vegetarian breakfast was lovely, and the little sauna was simple but very nice. The snow angels after sauna will stay with us. The massages left us relaxed and full of energy. We'll be back.

Kluis is pretty quiet in the off-season, but Gingst and Bergen are only a short drive away for shops and places to eat. We spent some of the week hiking and swimming at the indoor pool in Bergen. At Hof Kranichstein, though, the peaceful dining room and generous breakfast buffet were a treat, and the staff were friendly and attentive. My sister and I booked on a whim after finding the five-day yoga and painting package online, and we were warmly welcomed into spacious, comfortable rooms. Mine had a lovely rustic nautical style. Yoga began on day two, and over the week we learned lots of asanas and used the room's extensive equipment. Katharina, the owner and instructor, was professional and attentive to form. The five-hour painting class with Kathrin in Thesenvitz was good too, and the transfer was included. Katharina's wellness treatments were easy to book at short notice. We had a wonderful winter holiday at Hof Kranichstein.

Katharina was considerate and attentive in her daily Iyengar classes, adjusting exercises for anyone with an injury or limited mobility. The sessions were professional and varied, with equipment like chairs, wall straps, and wooden blocks. There's a yoga center right across from the hotel, and we really enjoyed the retreat. Our package also included a painting course, and everything ran smoothly. The small hotel is in a very quiet spot in the heart of Rügen, about a 20-minute drive from the Baltic Sea. Our room was cozy and spacious, with a TV, Wi-Fi, fridge, hairdryer, and shower. Water, tea, and coffee were available without limit. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There are also a sauna, whirlpool, and wellness massages to book. We'll definitely book with Katharina again.
