The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfasts. The owner was wonderful. Hot water took a long time to come through, and although the nearby buses were handy, several never showed during our three nights. The main road nearby (Zugspitzstraße?) was busy, though we couldn’t hear the traffic from the Gästehaus. A riverside bike lane runs alongside it and makes for a pleasant 30 minute walk into town. I also went on a nice hike from the Gästehaus to the Kramerspitz, about 18km total?.

Getting into the city centre takes a 12 minute walk, and Eibsee is an 8 km hike or a 12-14 km bike ride. The host was very friendly, and the location was perfect. Bike rental is only 3 mins away, with 10% off if you say you’re staying at this guesthouse.

The owners were lovely, and the service was great. They put a lot of effort into giving advice and making sure you get where you need to go. Breakfast before heading out into the snow was 10/10. Thanks for everything!

We had a comfortable, airy, sunny room on the top floor during our pleasant three-night stay in June 2017. Breakfast each morning was filling, with bread, jams, muesli, yoghurt, meats and cheeses. The family who own the Haus were friendly and gave personal service, and they replied quickly to my email enquiry. I’d stay again.
