This is my third ski trip stay here with family, and I’ll come back. It’s a great place with kids: breakfast is good, the train station is very handy, and you can bring takeaway in for dinner after a long day on the slopes. The sauna is great too. Some of the service comes with a frown instead of a smile, though.

The location is really convenient, but we paid 170 a night for two and had a bad stay. International guests are also asked to pay for a membership. The room was clean but cold, with just a bed and one small towel, no nightstands or usable table. They expect you to strip the bed for laundry, yet check-in is still at 4 because they’re cleaning. Want another towel, even for the sauna? You have to pay. I’d only give the place a high rating for its location. Next time I’ll pay 10 euros more and stay at a nearby hotel where I don’t have to clean the room. I’ve never stayed in such a bad and expensive hostel.

The apartment was decent, but what happened at reception overshadowed the stay. At check-in, the staff treated us in a clearly unprofessional and deeply disrespectful way. As guests from Asia, we found the welcome uncomfortable and embarrassing. The same staff member was dismissive and unhelpful at checkout. This was our first stop in Germany, at Moun 10 in Munich, and in all our years traveling around Europe, it was the only time we’ve felt genuinely unwelcome. Management urgently needs to address how guests are treated at reception.

For €180 a night for two, this was nowhere near worth the money. Breakfast was poor, and the room looked onto a courtyard with two odd locked doors, probably leading to other rooms. There was no hairdryer, shelving, or nightstands. They made us buy a “membership card” on arrival that hadn’t been mentioned when booking. Check-in starts only after 16:00, while checkout is already at 10:00, so you’re paying for less than a day.
