Good spot, though it’s pricey.

We’d happily return to this lovely apartment. Our first-floor unit is clean, tidy and spacious, with two double beds and one single bed. There’s a living room, dining room, kitchen with a dishwasher and refrigerator, a large bathroom with toilet (not wheelchair accessible), and an extra guest toilet. We also liked the big balcony facing the mountain walls, and there’s a separate bicycle shed. There aren’t reserved parking spaces, but free street parking is available, though a spot can sometimes be hard to find.

The location is central, but being near the intersection and the road into the city made it very noisy. There was no sun protection on the small balcony, so it was unbearable, even though the view of the Zugspitze was nice. You can get the same view somewhere quieter. Inside, the apartment was spacious and clean but had a strong musty smell, so we kept the windows open. There was plenty of seating and a large TV, though the channels weren’t preset. The furniture was old, worn and outdated, while the bathroom was brand new and very nice. Kitchen equipment was disappointing: just beer and wine glasses, two deep plates and no salad bowls. The refrigerator light and the extractor hood light didn’t work. Wi-Fi cut out at 10:00 PM and wasn’t extended even after we asked.

The apartment is centrally located near the town hall and train station, with a view of the Alps. It’s beautiful and well equipped, and the landlords are friendly. There are chickens and a rabbit on the property. Wi-Fi is available until 11 pm; just let them know if you need it later.
