We had a lovely time at Hotel Zugspitze. The Alps were right there from our room, the first thing we saw each morning, and the view was there again as soon as we stepped outside. The service was warm and helpful, and the cozy Alpine feel runs through the hotel. We visited at the end of May. Days were warm, while nights stayed cool and comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but they provided a fan, and the room was still very pleasant. Breakfast had a somewhat limited selection, but everything else made for a great stay.

We spent two nights here and were very happy with the stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection and high quality, and our spacious room was comfortable. The modern, updated bathroom felt fresh and well designed. Getting around was easy, since the hotel is walkable to the main street, shops, and plenty of restaurants. We spent most of our time exploring Garmisch and regret not leaving more time to enjoy the pool and sauna area, which looked amazing. We'd happily come back and make more time for the hotel amenities next time.

We found Hotel Zugspitze through a random internet search and absolutely loved it. Its location was perfect for the hikes we came for. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were kind and smiling. Breakfast was completely satisfying. We highly recommend it.

There's a nice balance between the town center and the Classic slopes, and all the staff were helpful and very friendly. No request felt too small or too big. Rooms are a good size and convenient, with a tasteful nod to traditional design. The hotel feels cozy and welcoming, with a harmonious style and attention to detail that whispers rather than shouts quality. I highly recommend it and will stay again if I travel to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel description choices were somewhat limited. I ticked “luxury,” but I would have chosen “quality” and “comfort” instead. I value it more highly than “luxury.”
