The mattresses were very comfortable, and having a fridge with a small freezer in the room was a bonus. The place was nice and tidy: bins were emptied and floors vacuumed daily. Another plus was the fast food nearby. My other half and the kids ordered Donner kebab, which they really enjoyed.

A very basic but decent place for one night, in a convenient location. We got a bahn card that also let us into some attractions in this small town. The owner is charming and made sure everything was okay, and the owner's kid is a sweetheart.

For a ski weekend, the location worked really well: restaurants and bars are close, and Garmisch Bahnhof is about 10 minutes away. The room was roomy and quite nice. The man at reception seemed a bit odd, though.

A calm, cozy place and good value for money. Just be ready to carry your bags upstairs, since there’s no lift.
