I only stopped by the bar, and it was really nice.

I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a good stay at the Hotel am Hasengarten in the Berster Sportpark that I had to. Right from the start, I felt genuinely welcome, not just like another guest. The team were warm and attentive without hovering, and you could tell they cared and thought ahead. They even adjusted breakfast time to fit my schedule, and handled my requests with care. Breakfast had fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked scrambled eggs, homemade salads, and regional products. The rolls were still warm, and it was so good I looked forward to it each morning. My room was lovely, very clean, and quiet, with a view over the sports park that made it feel spacious. The bathroom was high-quality and thoughtfully put together, with substantial glass fittings and a shower that felt great. The price was surprisingly low for what you get, which is rare these days. I felt relaxed and well looked after, and I'll definitely be back. A clear recommendation if you value quality, warmth, and real hospitality.

The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and well maintained. But the furniture looked like it was from the 80s or maybe even older, so over €120 a night without breakfast seems steep. Also, the Catholic church next door rings its bells for about five minutes at 8 a.m. on Sundays, which makes sleeping in impossible.

We were here on business, and I'd gladly stay again. Even during booking, the staff member came across as polite and helpful, and the on-site staff were friendly too. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit and vegetables. The rooms are traditionally furnished and clean, though the curtains don't block much light. It was lovely hearing birdsong through the open window at this quiet hotel.

The breakfast was generous, with hot coffee and scrambled eggs, and we found it really filling. The staff were so friendly that we booked another night straight away. The furnishings are dated, sure, but everything worked and was clean. I see it as a sustainable place, and I think the hotel deserves a much higher rating than it gets.
