The hikes around the Bavarian Forest are easy to reach from here. Osser, Arber, Falkenstein, Rachel, and Lusen are all about 30-40 minutes away by car. We’ve been coming to Mrs. Holzapfel’s "Holzapfelhaus" for holidays since 2018, though we took a break in 2023 and 2024. We stayed for three weeks again this year, and it still feels a little like coming home. The cottage is cozy and clean, with parking out front and Wi-Fi. It has everything we need, and Mrs. Holzapfel is kind and helpful. We love staying here.

The hiking trail runs right by this cozy apartment, making it a lovely place to start peaceful days outdoors. There’s a private balcony with a great view, too. The landlady is very friendly and helpful.

The hostess is friendly and always ready to help, and the apartment has everything I need. This is my second stay with Elisabeth in the past year. It’s a cozy place in a house on a hill, with a beautiful view from the balcony.

We rented every apartment, and they were all clean and well cared for. There’s plenty to do from this excellent location. Mrs. Holzapfel was very kind and helpful, and I’d happily recommend the holiday home and apartments.

The apartment is lovely, with a fantastic view (1st picture), and there are good sleeping options. For example, the sofa turns into a luxury bed (3rd picture). It’s so cozy here that leaving is hard.
