Regiohotel Central Gera

Good price, clean room.

Excellent.

The breakfast area has been renovated beautifully, but the rooms are uneven. Furniture tends to be dated, and while some bathrooms are really nice, others are less pleasant. I’ve only encountered professional service from one or two people so far. Recently, rooms have sometimes gone three days in a row without cleaning or beds being made. If you know which room you’ll get, it can certainly work for an overnight stay. I’d steer clear of the lower quality rooms.

The room was comfortable and very well soundproofed, and the hotel was clean. There’s nobody there when you arrive, but Booking.com provides a code to get the key from a safe by the entrance. It’s surprising at first, but works well. The bathroom looked new and nicely decorated, with soap and shower gel provided. Breakfast was included and very good quality, with plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory. The whole setup worked well, and we had a good stay.
