The garden has a wonderful view, and the covered barbecue and dining area means you can grill whatever the weather. The owners are lovely and welcoming, quick to answer questions and respond. It’s a great place for a family holiday, though the stairs up to the apartment are quite steep and may be a bit tricky. We’d happily stay again :-)

We had a great 12-day stay at the brand-new Dolce Vita with five others. It’s a spacious, nicely furnished house with plenty of dishes and cutlery. Gees sits at the foot of a hill in a lovely spot, with lots to see nearby. The weather was good almost the whole time, so we made good use of the garden’s big dining table and loungers. Dennis and Rianne went out of their way to make us feel welcome and share information. We could also charge our car battery using the outlet in the garage, which was very convenient. One thing to plan for: Gees has no shops or anything like that. You have to go to Gerolstein for all your groceries, and it’s too far to walk there each time. Still, we had a wonderful stay and hope to come back.

We really enjoyed the sunsets from the gazebo in the inviting garden. Our apartment was newly renovated, modern, spotless, and very spacious, and the owners were dedicated, super friendly hosts. There are well-marked hiking trails and cycling routes nearby, and the location makes it easy to take interesting trips in every direction. We highly recommend it.

After a fantastic bike ride or hike, the lovely sofa is a great place to unwind. There were only two of us, but the beautiful apartment has enough room for eight, with two super deluxe bathrooms. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommended! Peter and Jacqueline Wintjens

Rianne and Dennis were great to communicate with, and the house was comfortable and fully equipped. The surrounding area is beautiful too. We’ve just come back from a family weekend at Dolce Vita and would love to return.
