We were very happy with our stay and would come back. The house has some age to it, but it’s spotless. There’s a big, pleasant living room, plus a kitchen and dining space stocked with everything you’d have at home. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and the hosts are lovely.

We came for four days to explore the Ice Age caves in the Lone Valley, and the apartment had all we needed. It’s roomy and nicely furnished, with a small, pleasant spot to sit outside. The area is very quiet, apart from the occasional tractor. The hosts are friendly, and sometimes they have fresh eggs from their chickens to offer. Highly recommend.

The tiled stove in the living room provides the heat, and you light it from the kitchen. Dad was especially pleased with that. The whole house has a lovely charm, and we felt at home there. It was clean and nicely furnished, with bed linen and towels provided, as well as kitchen appliances, dishes, and cutlery. If we needed something, we could ring the bell at the neighboring house and someone would hear us. We’d happily return and recommend the holiday home.

We waited outside in the sun for 45 minutes and still weren’t let in, so we had to book a hotel instead. A real shame, because the holiday apartment looked stunning, the little garden was cozy, and the owners seemed to love cats. I can recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice hotel. Hope you enjoy the wait outside your door.
