Hotel Jammerkrug

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We paid far too much, especially since the beds made it hard to sleep. I’d booked two deluxe rooms, but at check-in I was offered a different room and had no choice but to take it. I stayed two nights in a room I hadn’t booked. It was spacious and the bathroom was clean, but the sheets had hairs on them, the mattress had a huge dip and badly needs replacing, and the old towels were stained. The shower pressure was really strong, though running it brought a foul smell up from the drain. I messaged the staff with a question and got no reply. I only had breakfast at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the rest of the food. Breakfast wasn’t for me: mostly cold meats, bread, and a boiled egg, with no fresh fruit or dairy-free milk. The orange juice was from concentrate and the coffee was very weak.

The steak I ordered medium-well was raw inside. It was crowded, so it’s better to reserve before visiting.
