The breakfast spread had lots of variety, and the place was clean throughout. It’s a family-run guesthouse in a quiet spot, with lovely terraces. My room had been partly renovated, though the bathroom felt dated, and the mattress wasn’t new. There was no coffee machine, so no cappuccino, unfortunately. For the price, it was acceptable.

The hosts were really nice, and breakfast was great. It’s a very quiet guesthouse with a view over the Rhine plain. Some parts of the rooms have been renovated, while the bathroom is showing its age. Everything was very clean.

The Palatinate Forest has plenty of well-marked hiking trails. The owners were very friendly, and breakfast had a good selection.

There are beautiful terraces all around the hillside guesthouse, including the especially lovely and comfortable Kiwi Terrace. Whatever the weather, we could find a cozy place to sit and unwind. Our room was lovely, with a large terrace, and the big bed was very comfortable. There’s also a large fridge for guests in the hallway. We were warmly welcomed, and the friendly couple running the place were always available to help. It was a wonderfully relaxing stay, just right for anyone looking for peace and quiet. We’ll definitely return and are already looking forward to being back in Gleisweiler.
